As the topic says, does anyone know of any silicone keyboard protectors that are see through? Also my screen is reflective screen unfortunately it was not a model that had anti glare matte. I see some 15.6" anti matte films being sold on amazon are they worth it? Same level of performance as real anti glare matte?

I would greatly prefer if these products do not ship from china nor hong kong.....

The matte covers for the screen are not as good as a matte finish, that's for sure. But they definitely help; just expect a less vibrant picture and slightly "grainy" effect ─ more than what you would see if it were a matte screen.

I've never used a silicone keyboard protector, but from what I've seen, the "clear" ones are semi-transparent but still pretty noticeable. There may be some that are less visible than others, but every keyboard protector I've seen is apparent (they have sort of a slight 'foggy' look to them).

You may want to try the following Green Onions 15.6" Anti-Glare screen protector. I have the 14" version on my Lenovo IdeaPad Y470. It is not an exact fit though. There is about a 1/8 of an inch gap (maybe less) that is not covered by the anti-glare screen but overall it's not distracting at all. It is a bid difficult to install because you need to worry about dust and air bubbles, but that can be said for any type of screen protector.

As ProStar stated, text and images will not be as sharp with the anti-glare screen, but that how these things work. Diffusing light means the filter tries not to reflect as much ambient light directly back to you. Thus, causing things not to be as razor sharp as they once were. But I have no regrets with it. Just keep in mind that it will take you a bit of time to get installed perfect (i.e. no dust particles and no air bubbles).

Here's a tutorial on how to install:

Trust me, it looks easy but it is not especially if this is the 1st you are doing something like this.
