Upgrading a basic hp g72 notebook pc

it wont be a gaming machine at best a low end budget pc. the G72 has a core i3-350M which can be upgraded to i3-390M , you'd go from a 2.26ghz to a 2.66ghz , if you went any higher your computer may not be able to dispearse the heat quick enough casuing overheating which then lead to GPU damage and dead mobo. upgrading ram from 4-8GB can help but only APU's really benefit. You have an intel hd onboard graphics which is no good for gaming.
