I've been passed a friends laptop (yep a friend not mine - I'm a desktop guy :))
she has had booting issues from it hanging on the windows logo, booting to a black screen, to being stuck in a booting loop.

From what I found out, someone (friend of a friend) tried their best to fix it, and dont know how but managed to put on Vista / XP3 & Win 7 Home and Ultimate. but never fixed the inital problem.

So.. Multiple times I've asked her is there anything you really need to keep? of course NO is the reply, so I have gone ahead and used the eMachines built in Factory Restore, and everything works perfectly. Except she forgot about her precious photo's and iTunes for her iPhone.

Using Easy Recovery Professional I've managed to recover ALL of the files which were in the "USER" folder, which also contained iTunes.

I know that iTunes can be a right pain and try to wipe the iPhone but I want to know can recovered folder & files still sync as normal with the iPhone?

Contained in the iTunes folder are the following:
Previous iTunes Libraries Folder: 2x iTunes Database Files
iTunes Media Folder: Tones Folder; Music Folder; Mobile Apps Folder; Books Folder; Automatically Add to iTunes Folder. (all with files in)
Album Artwork: Download Folder; Cache Folder. (all with files in)

then 4 files: iTunes Music Library; iTunes Library; iTunes Library Genius; iTunes Library Extras.

I copied the iTunes folder to C:\ so I could re-install iTunes 10 and then I copied and pasted the iTunes folder back, replacing the new files in the process.

So my question (sorry very lengthy) will the iPhone work as normal with the laptop or is it a lost cause?

As I said desktop guy, that get's by with forum help.

Thanks in advance.
