So I am currently trying to set up my Turtle Beach X11 headset to work along with my speakers for PC Gaming.

Currently my speakers are set up in the Front Speaker out (Green input).

I want it so that both my Headset and the speakers play audio at the same time. So I went to plug my headset into the Rear Speaker Out (Black input). However, no sound came through the headset.

So, I tried just the speakers in the Rear Speaker Out. Again, no sound.

How do I get the Rear Speaker Out to playback sound? Or am I doing this whole thing wrong, and there is a better way to get both the Headset and Speakers to both play sound.

Thanks for all the help!

1. Right click on the speaker icon in taskbar and select volume control options.

2. put a check mark on "All devices currently playing sound".

3. Make sure you have "The default communication device unchecked".

4. place a check mark on both speakers and headphones.

When I opened the Volume Control Options, only "Speakers" and "Realtek Digital Output" show up, along with a bunch of "Digital Display Audio" icons as well.

And when I open Realtek HD Audio Manager, "Speakers" and "Microphone" are checked at the top. And it shows up that "Mic In", "Front Speaker Out" and "Rear Speaker Out" are being used...

Any ideas?

P.S. I just unplugged the speakers and put the headset into the Green "Front Speaker Out"...in the audio manager the headset shows up as Speakers.
