If your really fond of it and dont want to buy a new one. I would check to see if all the other lights are on and such if not it could be your power supply board. Its really easy to fix and not near as expensive as buying a new TV. Check places like Tri-State Module or Shopjimmy for the best price and maybe show them your picture. I know they normally are 1/2 the price of the regular price.
