So i was lookin for some decent computer speakers for some music. Just wanted some 2 channels because i plan on listening to mostly music with them. 100$ was my budget and i went with the Bose companion 2's thinkin well bose was pretty good quality but there seems to be an issue when theres a lot of bass in a song. It seems like the speaker itself is changing the equalizer or something and turns it down and makes it all muffled. The highs and mids are little hard to hear too. Im really just curious if this is normal and/or if i can do better sound for the price. I guess i can do 2.1 if it will be worth it in sound. Thanks in advance for any help.
Just as an update i've done a little research and a lot of People think that bose is a little to expensive for the performance that you get out of it. I listened to some good Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's and am definitely thinkin of goin that route. Taking these things back they sound "muddy" by comparison.
