try another monitor WITH your monitor cable, if the problem persists, replace the monitor cable with the other one. if that fixes the problem the problem is your cable.
if the other monitor works, and its not cable related, then it's your monitor that's broken.
if the other monitor never works, then you've got a gpu issue. and need to replace it.
