want to connect 2 laptops to net

i have 1 laptop connected to wireless router how can i connect second laptop both are wireless enabled i ran my installation disc using ethernet cable and connected to net but when i disconnected cable i lost net access. my laptop is wireless enabled and the wireless switch was on.

You have to connect via wireless - if your adapter is installed properly with drivers enabled, you should see an icon on the system tray. Right click and then click "connect". It should find Wi-fi routers close to the laptop. Find yours, enter the password, and you should be good to go.

With most routers you can connect up to 15 wireless devices including laptops..

You will be required to access your router, and obtain the wireless access key.

Once you have the key you will need to connect to the router via wireless using your key. What service provider, or router model number are you using?

If you have your router wireless password already you can just go ahead and connect, but if not you will be required to obtain it. Once you have your key you can go to the following:

Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections to find your wireless adapter to connect.
