So I'm getting an alienware 14x and I'm looking to play skyrim on medium to high . Minecraft on high , Battlefield 3 on medium to high and world of war craft on medium to high . I will not use the laptop for anything else but that and using the Internet. I need help on the specs! My budget is 1200$ . I don't really trust sager because the website just looks unorganized and i see no reviews on them over youtube.
Help please

You should really get a desktop. For the same amount of money you will get better/faster hardware. Tom's members will be more than happy to make you a computer parts list that is compatible and suits your needs. Also for future you can upgrade any part in a desktop to suit your needs while laptops are limited when it comes to upgrading them so in two years you will have to sell the laptop and loose some money while with a desktop its a matter of replacing some parts and you can keep most of them while upgrading the processor or graphics

Also building a computer is a fun learning experience learning how everything fits together

I just don't know where to begin on what parts I need and how ill actually build a desktop . I go out of town sometimes and I'd like to bring my games with me . But with a desktop I can't do that . I mean if a desktop can run all what I said above on the setting level I asked for then I'd take a desktop I just don't know where to get parts and how to build it

You can get the parts online or on in a computer hardware store like ncix or for online, newegg. Those two great sellers for pc parts and or per built pc.
If you are looking do play those games I would recommend asking around people for advice on what parts you should buy.

I would HIGHLY recommend building a pc for yourself than to buy a pre built one. It is a lot cheaper.

Let us know if you require more help and we would happily provide it. :D
