Hi, tomshardware members!

I seek a digital camera of sufficient megapixels to read part numbers on 3 cm by 1 cm RAM labels, and that will allow me to immediately have photos accessible by the attached computer, without having to shut this camera off.

My research so far has led me to the following :

My budget for the camera and attendant software is $100.

The idea would be to take a picture, and immediately have it available to the computer for uploading to ebay.

P.S. Does anyone know if "Tell Tom's" is actually worth the time for someone making $12/hour from home, anyway?

An Eye-fi card in a supported camera will do that. I have one, about 4,000 pics put through it.
Click, image automagically ports to the PC, done.

Some newer cameras have WiFi built in.

For $100 total? No.
