Regarding Hp pavilion g4-2049tx

Is this a good laptop ... the configs are i5-3210m/4gb ram/1 gb ati radeon 7670/500 gb/14" screen.... One of my friend have an hp laptop which exhausts downwards... is this laptop also like this .If that is the case i will have a hard time with overheating issues same as my friend ... please help me because i have to order my laptop beforehand .....

Sounds like a decent average use, non-gaming laptop. I have had my HP Pavilion DV6 for about 4 years now and never had any real issues with overheating. I use a coolingpad just to be safe since I push this thing far beyond what its designed for. Now.. Are you sure thats the right model name? I have not been able to find a Pavilion G4 anywhere to verify its venting design...

Edit: Actually, I just browsed the HP web store and could not find a 14" laptop that matches those specs.
