Solved! How to unlock dvd drive in laptop

What do you mean? Unlock to remove it? It depends on the model of laptop but there is usually a screw right bellow it, once you take that out, you can pry it right out. Sometimes there is a little lever that pops out you can use to pull it out.

If you mean to unlock as in the region code, this is usually done in the DVD playback software.
